GET YOUR RESUME IN NOW!! OIL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY THAT CAN’T BE MISSED!!! Canada has recouped all jobs it lost in the 2009 recession, with the oil sands in Alberta being a huge part of that – Alberta is on track to become the world’s second-largest oil producer and employer within the next 5-10 years, currently producing two million barrels per day. The oil companies expect that number to grow to four to five million barrels within a decade. Alberta’s oil and gas industry supports more than 271,000 direct jobs, with hundreds of thousands of indirect jobs in sectors such as construction, manufacturing and financial services. There are also some 1,000 American companies involved in Alberta energy, supplying equipment and technology, among other things. TransCanada has been trying since September 2008 to get a permit to build the Keystone XL pipeline from Alberta to the Gulf Coast, which, if ever approved, will have the construction phase requiring 13,000 direct employees and indirect new jobs could total 118,000 more people having employment in both the US and Canada.
